Mosaic breaks ground on phosphate headquarters in Lithia

Minnesota fertilizer giant Mosaic Co. breaks ground today on the new 100,000-square-foot headquarters for its phosphate business unit near FishHawk Ranch in Lithia. About 400 people from across Central Florida will work at the new building. Mosaic was created in 2004 from the combination of two of the biggest players in the industry: Cargill Crop Nutrition and IMC Global Inc.
