Spirit Airlines announces four nonstop flights from Tampa

TAMPA — Spirit Airlines is launching four new nonstop flights to Tampa. Beginning Thursday, travelers will be able to travel directly from Tampa International Airport to Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Conn., Pittsburgh International Airport and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.

The airline will also launch a daily seasonal flight between Tampa and Columbus, Ohio, on Feb. 15, 2018. The route will operate until April 11 2018, and resume service Nov. 8, 2018.

"With more daily, nonstop flight options to Florida and Las Vegas this winter, we know our guests will be able to save tons of money on air travel, and instead spend those savings on souvenirs, attractions and making memories on vacation," said Mark Kopczak, Spirit vice president of network planning, in a release.
