Cayman Airways adds flights at Tampa International Airport

TAMPA — Cayman Airways will begin daily nonstop service from Tampa International Airport to the Cayman Islands beginning July 1.

The airline, which currently flies five days a week from the airport to Owen Roberts International Airport in George Town, Grand Cayman, will extend flights to seven days a week through Aug. 31.

The airport said it expects to double the number of international passengers who use the airport in 2016 compared to 2010.

Cayman Airways has been flying out of the Tampa airport since 1986. The daily summer flights will arrive at 1:25 p.m. and depart at 2:25 p.m. daily.
