Southwest adds its first new route out of TIA in two years.

Southwest Airlines is adding daily nonstop service from Tampa to Memphis on Nov. 3, its first new destination out of Tampa International Airport in two years.

Introductory fares are available now for as low as $79 each way for flights booked this week, the carrier said.

Southwest is the largest airline at Tampa International, serving 40 percent of the airport's nonstop destinations. It currently flies nonstop to 36 cities from TIA.
