Tampa International Airport will host an event in Ybor City Tuesday evening to celebrate new nonstop flights between Tampa and Havana, the first in almost 50 years.
Companies licensed to sell Cuba air travel and those that arrange the charter flights will be available to answer questions.
Xael Charters of Miami will make the inaugural flight Sept. 8. Miami-based ABC Charters will begin Sept. 10. A third carrier provider, Island Travel & Tours Ltd. of San Diego, has said it expects to start flights this month.
The Cuba travel forum begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Cuban Club, 2010 North Avenida Republica De Cuba in Tampa.
