The good news? Delta Airlines tops all U.S. airlines in a new Skytrax global airline passenger satisfaction survey of the world's best airlines. The bad news? At No. 32, Delta still ranks behind dozens of Middle East, Asian and some European airlines. For Tampa International Airport and the major airlines that operate there, the Skytrax consumer aviation website survey finds most of the larger airlines at Tampa International improved, some markedly, from the 2016 survey. The online survey was conducted from August 2016 to May 2017 with input from 19.87 million passengers from 105 countries. The survey covered more than 325 airlines and measured 49 parameters ranging from boarding procedures to seat comfort to the quality of service. Here are the highlights. — Times Staff
