Aerosonic Corp., the struggling Clearwater maker of aircraft instrumentation, reported another loss for the quarter ended May 7. But its new president and chief executive, Douglas Hillman, pointed to a quarter-over-quarter improvement as a sign the company is moving in the right direction. For the most recent quarter, Aerosonic posted a loss of $236,000 or 7 cents a share on revenues of $6.7-million. That compares to a profit of $62,000 or 2 cents a share on sales of $6.8-million a year ago. The company blamed the continuing loss on costs associated with the consolidation of its Earlysville, Va. facilities with the Clearwater location.
