Sandpearl Resort on Clearwater Beach among Travel + Leisure magazine's 50 best resorts

The Sandpearl Resort on Clearwater Beach was selected as one of the 50 best resorts in the United States and Canada for 2010 by readers of Travel + Leisure magazine. The hotel that opened in 2007 ranked No. 40 in its first year on the list. The Sandpearl was among nine Florida resorts receiving the honor and three on the state's gulf coast, along with the Ritz-Carlton and Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples.
