A message to the folks at WTVT-Ch. 13 in Tampa: The Feds want their $7,000. In a lawsuit filed last week, the Justice Department demanded that WTVT and seven other Fox affiliates across the United States pay fines they incurred back in 2004 for airing a racy episode of Married by America. The FCC had fined the stations for airing footage it considered indecent — scenes involving strippers at bachelor and bachelorette parties in Las Vegas. Fox has refused to pay, calling the fines arbitrary and unconstitutional.
