Psychiatrist opens private practice
Dr. Thomas G. Thieman, a board certified psychiatrist, has announced the opening of his adult and geriatric psychiatry practice at Liberty Professional Center, Building 3, Suite 101, 8630 Government Drive in New Port Richey.
Dr. Thieman was the medical director for 20 years for the Harbors Behavioral Health Center of Pasco County and was medical director of the Community Hospital Behavioral Health Center. He was a 2003 finalist for Physician of the Year at Community Hospital of New Port Richey. He has lived in New Port Richey with his wife, Sandy, for 27 years.
Animal Control trucks roll with new message
Friends of Animal Services, a nonprofit group that supports Pasco County Animal Services, raised money to provide "wrapped" messages on six Animal Control trucks.
The messages include "Adoption," "Spay/Neuter" and "License/Leash." With the trucks covering 742 square miles every day, the messages will travel across the county for many years to come.

Clark is named Sales Person of the Year
Katherine A. Clark of Port Richey has been awarded Sales Person of the Year by Via Media, a company that represents Verizon television ads throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Katherine has worked in newspaper, radio and television advertising in the area for 20 years. Via Media is based in St. Petersburg.
