My Favorite Car: '70 Ford Torino GT, Dan Beck, 63, Safety Harbor

'70 Ford Torino GT

My first new car, ordered from the factory, was a 1970 Ford Torino. When my wife suggested years later that I needed a hobby, I knew just the one. This 1970 Torino was parked on U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor, and I first laid eyes on it about 16 years ago. Since then, we've been to local cruise-ins and car shows across the state, making great friends, meeting great people and viewing great cars.
