'72 Porsche 911T

I bought this car from a fellow Porsche Club of America member in Michigan in 1975 for $4,200. I changed the color of the hood from red to silver. I replaced the steel bumpers and engine compartment lid with fiberglass, and flared the rear fenders to accommodate wider wheels. In the mid '80s I installed an engine from a 1980 Porsche SC. I removed the CIS injection system from this engine and installed triple throat Weber carburetors and S cams and lightened the flywheel. I also installed a roll bar, Recaro seat and 5 point seat belts. As a performance driving instructor for PCA and Track Time, I spent many hours on various tracks in the Northeast. The car was fast and agile. Due to my wife's health problems, I sold the car in 1993. The last I know of the car, it was converted to a club racer by some fellow in Ohio.
