My Favorite Car: '75 Datsun 280Z, John Billera, 44, Clearwater

'75 Datsun 280Z

My two older brothers helped me pick out this '75 Z car one weekend in 1988. It was a 4-speed, inline 6-cylinder, 170hp. They taught me how to drive a stick shift over the weekend. I drove this car my last two years of college at the University of Central Florida and a few years after. It was fun to drive and very reliable during my trips from Orlando to St. Petersburg. Anytime I see one on the road, which is rare, it brings back fond memories.
