My Favorite Car: Samuel V. Adcock's '69 Cutlass Oldsmobile convertible

'69 Cutlass Oldsmobile convertible

In 1968, I was an auditor traveling in North Carolina, and after dinner, us guys would car shop with dealers. I found my dream car and negotiated a bargain price. I took this information to my local dealer and asked if he would give me the same deal and let me make a special order for the car. He agreed and we ordered that beautiful Oldsmobile. Our children were young and they enjoyed riding with the top down almost as much as I did. My wife, Ann, is in the picture. Today, we have a Mustang convertible that is the same color.
