'60 Oldsmobile Super 88

I found this car in Hemmings several years ago in excellent condition with only 33,000 original miles on it. I always liked the look of these model Oldsmobiles with their long, sleek lines and clever wraparound rear window. With this model, Oldsmobile got away from the over-chromed look of the late '50s and styling was much improved. This car had an all-original interior, rust-free body, and all I had to do was a little chrome work and a new paint job. Oldsmobile called this model the Holiday Sedan. It had a 394 V-8 Olds rocket engine, all power, hydramatic transmission and drove like a new car. I got many trophies and awards with the car and really enjoyed entering it in car shows in and around Pinellas County.
