'53 Ford

My first car was a used 1953 Ford. It had a V-8 with aluminum heads, three-speed stick on the floor and three two-barrel carburetors. I bought it from my girlfriend's brother, who won those winner stickers on the window at a New Jersey drag track. The car was very quick and was known to all the racers in the neighborhood. I eventually sold the car but I still have the girlfriend, who has been my wife for 47 years. The photo is of me and my wife Patty. The picture was taken in Cliffwood, N.J..
