'54 Chevy
It was 1961, and after just getting married in Germany, we arrived in Toronto. It took us less than a week to purchase this 1954 Chevy rust bucket and we took it right away to Niagara Falls. After exchanging the car for newer models, our travels brought us to the States with early retirement in Florida in 1997. From snowdrifts to sunshine and from rust buckets to a Lexus, we finally feel we have arrived! We figured out, with the help of an oversized AARP calculator, that we reached our 50th anniversary in 2011 and had a chance to get to think about the "good(?)" old times with the whole family that gathered here to celebrate with us.
