Port Tampa Bay's board of directors voted Tuesday to approve up to $400,000 for a maximum of 14 vehicles for the port. The agency is eyeing Ford SUVs, trucks and transit vans to replace several of the port's current vehicles, which are becoming too old to use. The funds, which are part of the port's capital budget for the 2017 fiscal year, will also cover any equipment needed for them.
