Raymond James Financial sole Florida bank to make Vault.com best-employer list

After a year of scars over TARP bailouts and rising loan losses, what's the most prestigious bank to work for according to bank employees? For the 10th straight year, kudos go to the surviving megabank with arguably the closest ties to federal regulators: Goldman Sachs.

Raymond James Financial was the sole Florida institution to make the Top 50 list put out by Vault.com. The St. Petersburg company came in at No. 43.

New York banks dominated the roster, accounting for 13 of the top 14 spots. (Switzerland's Credit Suisse squeezed in there.) Citi's consumer bank, viewed as banged up and in trouble by some respondents, fell 22 spots to No. 41.
