HUDSON — Bank of America is closing its Hudson branch at U.S. 19 and Tower Drive due to declining business, company officials said.
The branch will shut down Nov. 15, company spokesman Matthew Daily said.
"It's all about declining transactions," he said, adding that more transactions are taking place online and by phone.
Customers and employees have been notified. Daily declined to say how many people work at the Hudson location but said they would be encouraged to seek other jobs within the company.
The next closest branch is about a mile away at 7419 State Road 52 in Bayonet Point.
Bank of America operates 10 full-service branches in Pasco County.
