The first Village Post Office in the Tampa Bay area opened Jan. 16 at Circle Food Mart, 601 Mandalay Ave., Clearwater Beach.

As a VPO, Circle Food Mart provides products and services that include first-class mail Forever stamps, prepaid priority mail flat rate products, priority flat rate boxes and shipping, Canadian and International postage and a mail collection box. It is also listed as a certified postal provider on

The U.S. Postal Service introduced the VPO model last year as a way to increase access to postal products and services.

Hours will be 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week.

Linda S. Griffin, a Clearwater-based, Florida Bar board-certified attorney in wills, trusts, estates and taxation and a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, has been certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a circuit mediator.

She was a recent guest on local radio and news outlets, where she discussed fiscal cliff issues and was also featured on WTSP Ch. 10 (CBS) for her volunteer work with the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

Level 1 office-based surgery approval means that Adora's physicians and staff have met the training and education requirements set forth by the Florida Department of Health and Florida Board of Medicine. The training and education includes, but is not limited to, basic life support, advanced cardiac life support and bloodborne pathogens.
