Clearwater Dermatologic & Aesthetic Institute, 1801 N Belcher Road, opened Aug. 30 offering medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology to all ages. A grand opening, attended by Clearwater Mayor George Cretekos, took place Oct. 26.
On staff is Dr. Maria Garcia-Cardona, a board-certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology ,who recently came to the area from Puerto Rico where she had her own practice for five years.
A Puerto Rican native, Garcia-Cardona is bilingual and welcomes Spanish-speaking clients.
The office accepts Medicaid, Medicare and most commercial insurances.
