Old electronics will be collected from businesses

The October EnviroBusiness hazardous waste collection day is Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Household Electronics and Chemical Collection Center, 2855 109th Ave. N, St. Petersburg. The collection is solely for businesses to drop off hazardous electronics. To drop off chemicals, businesses must qualify as small-waste generators. Call (727) 464-7500.

Chamber networking event set for Oct. 21

The Largo/Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce plans its monthly Business After Hours networking from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 21 at O'Houston's Irish Pub, 518 West Bay Drive. SCORE counselors will help businesses

The Largo/Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce hosts business counseling services provided by the Service Corps of Retired Executives at its offices by appointment every first and third Thursday monthly. SCORE counselors represent working and retired business executives who volunteer to help people looking to start a business and owners or managers of existing businesses. There is no cost. Make an appointment by calling (727) 584-2321.
