SEMINOLE — A subsidiary of Seminole-based Superior Uniform Group has acquired Los Angeles-based branded merchandise company PublicIdentity Inc.
"Over the years, PublicIdentity has held a well-earned reputation for its ability to provide high quality and innovative collegiate licensed products to college fans and consumers across the country," Philip Koosed, president of Superior's Bamko subsidiary, said in a release Monday.
While financial terms of the sale were not disclosed, Superior anticipates that PublicIdentity will add $6 million in revenue per year to Bamko.
PublicIdentity provides branded merchandise for several Florida colleges, including Florida Institute of Technology, Florida International University, Florida Gulf Coast University and University of Tampa.
Superior announced the acquisition after close of market. Its shares closed Monday at $21.96 apiece, down nearly 2 percent.
