Da Burger Joint's menu goes beyond 'da burger'

OLDSMAR — After owning and operating restaurants in four different states, Danny Falcone recently opened his ninth restaurant in Oldsmar.

Da Burger Joint opened its doors last month, moving into the space formerly occupied by Nosh. "I thought it was a good spot," said Falcone, owner.

Da Burger Joint offers more than just burgers, with a full breakfast menu that is served daily starting at 7 a.m.

Breakfast menu items include eggs, omelets, pancakes, and meat and egg meals. There are also special dishes such as green eggs and ham, which is avocado scrambled eggs on top of thin sliced grilled ham.

The restaurant has an extensive menu of freshly ground, hand crafted burgers.

"We get big sides of beef and we grind our own beef," said Falcone. "When you bite into it, you know you're eating some quality meat."

Falcone said his meat mixture includes freshly ground bacon.

In addition to burgers, diners can choose from freshly made empanadas, wraps, salads, and sandwiches such as the Philly cheese steak and pulled pork.

The french fries are hand cut daily, and all sauces, dressings, and dips are made fresh.

Da Burger Joint is located at 4058 Tampa Road. It is open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For more information, call (727) 301-0012, or visit daburgerjoint.net.
