What is the federal order against U-Haul truck rental about?

The Federal Trade Commission this week issued a settlement order against U-Haul and its parent company AMERCO, barring them from colluding or inviting collusion on the price of truck rentals.

Investigators determined that U-Haul and AMERCO attempted to draw their chief competitor Avis Budget Group, Inc., in a price fixing deal. U-Haul, its parent company AMERCO and Avis Budget Group together control 70 percent of the U.S. do-it-yourself truck rental market.
