Tampa Bay fell from third to sixth – last place – in the "regional economic scorecard" comparing Tampa Bay's state of the economy to five competing metro areas. The scorecard was released this morning by the Tampa Bay Partnership. The regional economic development group's findings for Tampa Bay in three of the six categories measured showed declines, while three remained unchanged. Most significant, the scorecard reported steady or improved performance in the five comparison regions, namely Atlanta, Dallas, Jacksonville, Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham.
