Food service distributor US Foods Inc. notified the state this week that it is shutting down a Tampa facility effective Jan. 4, idling 25 employees.
US Foods, which is based in Rosemont, Ill., detailed the planned layoffs at its facility at 2021 N. Rocky Point Drive W in a letter sent to city and state officials under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification ACT( WARN).
