After an eight-month search, the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce has named Robert Rohrlack Jr. as its new president and chief executive. Rohrlack's last job was senior vice president of business retention and recruitment for Enterprise Florida in Orlando. His first official day is April 27. Rohrlack replaces Kim Scheeler, who left the chamber last summer after seven years to run the chamber of commerce in Richmond, Va. Before he worked at Enterprise Florida, Rohrlack presided over the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce. In the late '80s and early '90s, he was an executive in the Tampa Chamber's economic development department. Rohrlack graduated from Troy University in Alabama.
