Hall of Fame to induct Outback, Publix founders

The founders of Outback Steakhouse and Publix Super Markets are among six people who will be inducted into Junior Achievement's U.S. Business Hall of Fame on March 5. And, to top it off, the annual national event will be held in the bay area, specifically at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel. Here are the honorees, selected by a committee that includes JA Worldwide directors and past inductees:

• Tim Gannon, Bob Basham and Chris Sullivan, founders of Outback Steakhouse and OSI Restaurant Partners.

• George W. Jenkins, Publix founder, who died in 1996.

• Edward E. Whitacre Jr., chairman emeritus of AT&T.

• Steve Case, founder of America Online Inc. and chairman of the Case Foundation.
