Hollywood Seminole casino ushers in table games

The stars came out, along with throngs of anxious gamblers, to celebrate Florida's first legal games of blackjack Sunday night at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood. Rock guitarist Rob Patterson smashed a guitar amid smoke and confetti. Fiancee Carmen Electra posed with a perfect 21 hand, ace and king of spades. At 71 tables, some with people waiting five and six deep, gamblers played blackjack, baccarat, mini-baccarat, Three Card poker, Let It Ride and pai gow poker with minimum bets of $25 and a $5,000 limit. Tables were still packed Monday afternoon, said a Seminole Tribe spokesman. Tampa Bay area players should get their turn sometime in late fall when the ''banked" card games come to the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa.
