Burger King tax inversion Aug. 26

Send Burger King a tough message

It would be so wonderful if the American people had the will and unity to send a message to Burger King Corp. If you move your headquarters to Canada to avoid U.S. corporate taxes, we will no longer buy your mystery meat hamburgers. Consumers would have such power if we could only organize and apply pressure. We have allowed our jobs to be shipped out of the country and now we have these tax inversions allowing greedy corporations who want to avoid any resemblance of social responsibility for operating in our capitalistic economy. And who do you think the tax savings will go to? I can assure you it will not be the employees. Consumers unite and write or email Burger King and let them know: If they move then you do, too — away from their sorry food!
