PROFESSIONAL OFFICE PARK IN LUTZ SOLD: Hold-Thyssen, a real estate services firm, recently negotiated the $725,000 sale of the Van Dyke Professional Center at 17535-45 Darby Lane in Lutz.

Theresa Margaris, a transaction specialist, negotiated the sale, representing the seller, Portland, Ore.-based NWE17.

An established consulting firm specializing in business advisory services purchased the office park, which was built in 2007 on 1.77 acres with 7,500 usable square feet. The property was 66 percent leased at the time of the sale.

ROGERS TOWERS ATTORNEYS GAIN RECOGNITION: Florida Trend magazine named 11 Rogers Towers attorneys in its annual Legal Elite issue, including civil trial attorneys L. Javan Grant and J. Scott Slater, both in the Wesley Chapel office.

According to Florida Trend, lawyers were asked to name attorneys whom they hold in the highest regard or would recommend to others. Balloting for this year's list began in October, when the magazine invited in-state members of the Florida Bar to participate.

GOLF TO HELP CHARITY: Terri's Tears Charitable Trust Foundation will host its first golf outing on Aug. 13 at Meadow Oaks Golf and Country Club, 13125 Fairwinds Road, Hudson. The event will have a 1 p.m. shotgun start.

Registration for the four-person scramble is $40 per player, with single or double players being paired with other golfers. Tickets include a goody bag, door prize chance, contest prizes and an indoor cookout after the event.

SCORE SCHEDULES BUSINESS CHALLENGE WORKSHOP: Pasco Hernando SCORE will present a free half-day, fast-track program for existing small businesses to learn and develop new strategies to overcome challenges from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 16 at Rasmussen College, 8661 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey.

Registration and a free continental breakfast will be at 8:30 a.m., with the welcome and program overview at 8:55 a.m. Speakers will begin at 9 a.m. Business experts will help identify and prioritize actions necessary for participants to succeed and grow their businesses.

APPRECIATION BANQUET: The Pasco Economic Development Council will have its annual appreciation banquet on Sept. 8 at Saddlebrook Resort, 5700 Saddlebrook Way, Wesley Chapel.

The trade show will begin at 5 p.m.; the dinner and program will be at 7 p.m. Local business and community leaders will be recognized for their contributions to growing and strengthening the local economy.

GOLF TOURNAMENT FUNDRAISER: Wells Fargo Advisors of Trinity will host its third annual golf tournament to benefit Gulfside Hospice at 11 a.m. Oct. 24 at Cypress Run Golf Club, 2669 St. Andrews Blvd., Tarpon Springs, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Registration for the four-person scramble is $125 for individual golfers and $500 per foursome, which includes lunch and dinner.
