The Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties was recently recognized by the NonProfit Times, a leading national publication for nonprofit management, as one of the "50 Best NonProfits to Work For in 2012."
The coalition, with 36 employees at the time of the application, ranks 16th on the list of 50, which includes organizations as the American Heart Association with 2,694 employees (ranked 39) and the Mayo Clinic Health System with 1,512 employees (ranked 48).
The coalition is the only small organization on the list with headquarters in Florida, and one of only four organizations of any size to make the list from the Sunshine State.

Leadership Pasco, a development program that explores issues through a series of seminars and hands-on activities, is accepting applications for its class of 2013.
The program is open to people interested in community involvement and supporting the prosperity of Pasco County.
Topics include leadership skills, the history of Pasco County, education, health care and social services, law enforcement and criminal justice, economic and business development, government and infrastructure.
Applications are due by June 1, and may be submitted at leadershippasco.com.

Nancy Surak, broker associate at Eshenbaugh Land Company in Tampa, recently closed a $300,000 sale on a 15,240-square-foot eight-bay RV garage at 14714 U.S. 19 in Hudson. The closing date on the 3.22-acre property was April 26.
