James Horsman has been named managing director of the 323-room InterContinental Tampa. Horsman will oversee all aspects of the operations, including rooms division, food and beverage, and sales and marketing. With 28 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Horsman most recently served as managing director of the Stowe Mountain Lodge, Stowe, Vt. Before that, Horsman was general manager of the Nine Zero hotel in Boston. He has extensive experience with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. where he has worked as general manager of Ritz-Carlton in Dubai, Philadelphia and Atlanta. Horsman is a graduate of West Chester University in Pennsylvania.
