The Wachovia Plaza office property, based in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg, was sold by Parkway Properties Inc. of Jackson, Miss., to Orlando's CNL Commercial Real Estate. Gross sales price? $26-million, and Parkway expects to recognize a $9.3-million gain on the property in the current quarter. Parkways says the 186,000-square-foot property was 97.8 percent occupied at the start of August, and the deal includes use of 240 adjacent parking spaces.
