ST. PETERSBURG — A Parkshore Plaza condo owner has withdrawn his lawsuit against the city of St. Petersburg and Brian Taub, developer of the 18-story Bliss condo tower now rising nearby.

Michael Levy had appealed a judge's ruling in September that allowed work to proceed on Bliss, which Levy contended is too big for its site and violates the city's comprehensive land use plan. Records show that the appeal was voluntarily dismissed late last month.

"It's officially over," Assistant City Attorney Michael Dema said Thursday. "Certainly, it's a relief for us. We were confident in our process, but it's good to see it come to an amicable conclusion for the developer."
