St. Petersburg's infamous "sewage house'' has finally sold. Pinellas Equities, LLC of Irving, Texas bought the four-bedroom foreclosure from Fannie Mae in late March for $360,000, almost $60,000 less than the asking price.

Fannie Mae first listed the Snell Isle house a year ago for $419,000, then withdrew it after a Tampa Bay Times story revealed it had a serious mold problem apparently caused by a sewage leak. After mold remediation and other work, the house was listed again in January. Pinellas Equities, which has bought and sold dozens of bay area homes in the past few years, could not be reached for comment on its plans for the house.
