South Hillsborough island mansions up for sale

RUSKIN — Two of a well-known Ruskin family's multimillion-dollar Dickman Island estates are now up for grabs, sales listings show.

The mansions are owned by members of the Dickman family, which in the early 20th century was among the first to subdivide and build on 13,000 acres of wetlands and wilderness in south Hillsborough County.

Glenn and Danita Dickman's 6,600-square-foot Island Boulevard mansion, with a full wet bar and private boat dock, went for sale this week at just under $6 million.

Tammy Dickman's 4,100-square-foot Dickman Avenue mansion, with an all-glass pool, fire pits and 42 palm trees, was listed in December for about $2.5 million.
