The Cobb Luxury 10 Theatre at Tyrone Square Mall will open on Friday.
The brand new movie theater, built at the corner of at Tyrone Boulevard and 66th Street N, in the parking lot of Tyrone Square Mall, fills a much needed void in St. Petersburg and Pinellas Park by adding a third movie theater to the area. The Cobb Theatre replaces an AMC six-screen theater at the mall that closed nine years ago.
The new theater is opening in time for the release date of The Jungle Book, a remake of the classic Disney film by director Jon Favreau. Tickets can be purchased online for showings beginning Friday.
This is only the second luxury theater that Cobb Theatres has built, which is meant to create a unique and friendly movie-going experience for families.
