Tampa Bay’s main attractions aren’t just beaches and a varied dining scene — the area also ranks highly for adult entertainment options. According to a study released Monday by WalletHub, Tampa Bay has the fourth-highest number of adult entertainment establishments per capita.
Las Vegas, perhaps unsurprisingly, had the highest number of such businesses, followed by Portland, Ore., and Atlanta.
The rankings were part of the study’s gauge of cities’ overall "sinfulness." Other factors included crime; obesity, smoking and excessive drinking; theft and fraud; tanning salons and beauty salons; and gambling.
Overall, Tampa ranked No. 9. in the "sinful cities" list among 182 metros. Two other Florida metros came out even higher on the top 10: Orlando and Miami placed second and third, respectively.
Las Vegas came in No. 1 overall. On the opposite side of the spectrum, South Burlington, Vt., was named the least sinful city.
