All 450 Hooters restaurants in the United States and Canada will donate a big chunk of their Super Bowl food and beverage sales to disaster and hunger relief in Haiti. Founded in Clearwater, the chain announced it is turning over the proceeds of all sales made during the fourth quarter of the NFL championship game Sunday to Stop Hunger Now, an international hunger relief group. Super Bowl Sunday historically is the top sales day of the year for the chain. The 10 Hooters stores in the bay area have made the Tampa Bay for Haiti Coalition their partner for the fund raiser.
