KaTonga to end 6-year run at Busch Gardens

After 10,000 performances, the curtain comes down on the last KaTonga show at Busch Gardens in Tampa on Monday.

Seeking a new look after KaTonga's six-year run, the theme park signed a replacement. It's a road show version of Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy, a Broadway production that features colorful, animal-look costumes and a cast of acrobats, aerialists, jugglers and contortionists. Produced by a Pompano Beach company not linked to Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Dreams begins a one-year run at Busch Gardens this winter.
