A developer has announced plans for a Burlington Coat Factory and an HHGregg appliance and electronics store in the former Target building that has been empty for more than two years. On May 16, KSH Argate Port Richey LLC closed on the sale of the roughly 100,000-square-foot building at 6401 Tacoma Drive, near U.S. 19 and Scenic Drive, just north of the Gulf View Square mall. The sale price was not available Monday. The building, which housed a Target until January 2010, will be retrofitted for the new stores. Construction is slated for completion Oct. 1.
