HSN Inc. announced Thursday its annual sales were $3.4 billion in 2013, up 4 percent over the previous year. The St. Petersburg-based company reported net income of $178 million in 2013, compared to $131 million the year before.
Net sales for HSN rose 2 percent to $2.3 billion and reflected a 7 percent growth in digital sales. Sales for its Cornerstone segment increased 9 percent to $1.1 billion, with 11 percent growth in digital sales.
Cornerstone includes Ballard Designs, Chasing Fireflies, Frontgate, Garnet Hill, Grandin Road and other home and apparel brands. Cornerstone also distributes catalogs and operates online retail sites and retail and outlet stores.
