Keeping up with e-commerce technology, HSN this weekend is putting QR codes on its high-definition broadcast aired in 43 million households. The TV shopping channel becomes the first to use QR over the airwaves. The black and white bar-code-style box, which has become common in print ads, enables shoppers with smart phones to link directly to product information and buy them over hsn.com through the network's mobile aps.
