St. Petersburg-based TV and online shopping stalwart HSN Inc.'s stock price dropped $7.90, or 10.6 percent, closing the day Thursday at $66.67, after the company posted mixed second-quarter results.
HSN reported second-quarter earnings of $41.6 million, or 78 cents. Adjusted for nonrecurring costs, earnings were 81 cents per share. The results met Wall Street expectations.
However, HSN's revenue of $885.6 million in the period missed Wall Street forecasts.
