TAMPA — The Hyde Park location that Restoration Hardware is vacating to move to a bigger, grander location at International Plaza won't stay empty long.

Hyde Park Village's owner, WS Development, was quick to announce some new additions to the shopping lineup at the tony shopping district — including a replacement for the Restoration Hardware store.

Sur La Table, a high-end cookware and cutlery store that also offers cooking classes, will take Restoration Hardware's place next to Anthropologie in the fall.

Paper Source, a posh stationery store that offers products such as greeting cards, custom invitations and stamps, is set to open in the summer.

Hyde Park will be the first Tampa Bay location for both retailers.

Separately, Blue Moon Trading Company will relocate its MacDill Avenue store to the northeast corner of Swann and S Dakota avenues in February. The homegrown furniture and design boutique, owned by Katie Gagnon, sells custom pieces crafted by local artists.

The much larger Restoration Hardware "gallery" store opening at International Plaza later this year will be three stories high, the company disclosed.

The elegant furniture megastore will be on Bay Street, the mall's outdoor area of boutiques, bars and restaurants. It will be built on top of the space that was once home to the old Champp's sports bar, which shut down in February 2014.

New details about the project were revealed at Thursday's meeting of the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority, which oversees Tampa International Airport.

The builder needed permission from the airport to bring in a tall crane to help build the store.

Airport officials said an FAA study showed the crane would not be a "hazard to air navigation." The board gave its approval.
