Kahwa offering free coffee through Sunday

Never tried Kahwa Coffee? Then head to one of the chain's five locations. The St. Petersburg-based coffee shop is giving away a free cup of joe to all "Kahwa virgins'' as part of its Kahwa Challenge to win over coffee drinkers.

Existing converts can get in on the freebie, too, by bringing a friend or joining the email list. The baristas are pretty liberal, so as long as you don't beg for a free cup every day, you'll probably get one. The deal is good through Sunday on any drink, from the straight-up stuff to lattes and cappuccinos.

Kahwa opened its first cafe in 2008 and has grown to three locations in downtown St. Petersburg and two in downtown Tampa.
