With a management team now on board, Legoland Florida is gearing up to hire 1,000 people to staff the new Winter Haven theme park, which opens in October. So far, jobs posted on legoland.com/jobs are mostly for backstage functions. The bulk of the park operations jobs (Legoland calls its workers Model Citizens) will not be posted until June. All applications must be made online. Geared to children 2 through 12 and their parents, Legoland is under construction on 150 acres that previously was Cypress Gardens.
